FREE Online Dance & Yoga Videos For At-Home Warmup (UPDATED)

I’ve put together together this list of some of my go to FREE online yoga and dance videos to do from home to help you warm up for your dance session!
These videos can help break up the day in the work from home lifestyle, they can supplement your rehearsal schedule, can help you stay on track with your fitness goals even if you can’t make it to the gym or studio as often as you used to, and getting a solid warmup for your photoshoot!

Check out the list below for my favorite free yoga and dance videos and channels and be sure to scroll all the way to the bottom for studios offering on-demand classes for a low price that you may want to check out!

  1. Yoga with Adriene

A popular pick for all levels, Adriene’s YouTube channel has countless videos to choose from. I love her laid back, true-to-self personality that provides modifications for any level, making it super accessible. She also organizes her channel by length of video so you can choose a practice based on how much time you have in your schedule. I can’t recommend YWA enough for any person wanting to move their body a little bit (or a lot) each day.

  2. Patrick Beach Yoga

A more strength-based flow, Patrick Beach is a newer favorite channel of mine. Majority of the video classes I’ve taken so far are more power yoga and really make you break a sweat. Where Yoga with Adriene videos focus more on breath and accessibility for all, Patrick Beach’s classes are great for continuing to get your body warm, build strength, and get grounded in your body.

  3. Dutch National Ballet Barre

Personal description pending… - I have yet to try these classes!

  4. Lemme Ballet

A very beneficial ballet class that offers a more feel good approach to ballet. Fun music, great teacher energy, and a good way to jump back into taking ballet class if it’s been a while for you (hey-o you’re not the only one!) Description of class is listed under each video on the Vimeo site. The classes include a long, luxurious ballet barre, and ending with a cool down of sorts, usually a vinyasa flow. This class is perfect for professional modern and contemporary dancers wanting to tap back into their ballet technique. Class is pay what you can with a suggested donation of $5-10 - find her Venmo on the Vimeo site attached.

  5. MadFit

Personal description pending… - I have yet to try these classes!

  6. Workout with Sabah

Super fun, upbeat Bollywood dance workout classes on YouTube! Sabah brings such a fun, upbeat energy to her classes and is guaranteed to make you sweat. Warm up and cool down are included and you can see the length of video clearly stated in the video thumbnail to easily plan your workout.

  7. Vitality Ballet on IG live

Free beginner/intermediate adult ballet on Instagram live every Monday at 3-3:30pm central. You can also find past classes on Vitality Ballet’s IGTV section on their IG profile!
